Blog Special – Stout beer choclate cookies
Today I would like to share with you how I make my beer cookies after a stout brewday! This recipe works with other styles as well, but the dark styles are certainly the best. Also, if you already have a chocolate chip cookies recipe, you can just replace the flaked oats with the malt!
-140g spent malt (ground)
-150g wheat flour
-2 tea butter (=200g)
-1 spoon peanut butter
-1 table dark chocolate (as chips) (I’d recommend 70% chocolate for a sweeter taste)
1, mix flour & baking soda, then mix with malt
2, separately, mix melted butter with floor-malt mixture and peanut butter
3, add eggs when the mixture has cooled off
4, add chocolate chips and mix
5, form and place them on the baking sheet with enough space in between them
6, cook for about 15 minutes (200 °C)
….and Voilá, they are ready to be served.
