Beer:
Beer is a carbonated alcoholic drink, made from malt, flavored with hops, and brewed from cereal grains – most commonly malted barley, though wheat, maize (corn), and rice are also used.

Porter:
Dark and a bit sweet ale, traditionally made in London, appeared first at the end of the XVIIth century. At that time, pale ale and brown malt was used while brewing, it is also interesting to say licorice and caramalized sugar gave the sweet taste to the beer.
